Grabbing ‘Green’:

Home » Accommodation

Toronto has a wide variety of accommodation options that cater to different tastes.  The best way to find something that suits your taste is to browse the reviews on sites like Trip Advisor.  The University of Toronto is centrally located in downtown Toronto so if you select the search option “downtown Toronto” you will find places  close to public transit that will give you reasonably quick access to the conference site. For hotels close to the university, see this list.

There are a number of hostels in Toronto.  The two that tend to get the best reviews are The Planet Traveler and Hosteling International Toronto.   Please check their sites for current pricing. Both are an easy journey to the University on public transit or using Toronto’s Bixi Bike share program.

The Holiday Inn Mid-Town (otherwise known as the Holiday Inn Bloor Yorkville) has set aside a block of rooms but given that it’s a busy time of year they would only reserve 15, so it’s first come first served.  The conference rate is $129.99/night (single/double).  The hotel is right on campus and next door to the conference venue.  You can find more information here. If you would like to reserve at the Holiday Inn, please complete this  Hotel Reservation form and return it to the listed contact.  The rooms will be held until Wednesday April 17.  If the hotel has availability after that date they will give you the conference rate so long as you identify that you are with the conference.
